Survivor stories will bring you behind the curtain of the lives of survivors.
No two strokes are the same, but each and every survivor has a common goal;
Take Control of Life After Stroke!
In these brief conversations we ask each guest to share their stroke story, and tips on how they are managing to take control life after stroke. We hope these stories will share positive light and enable you with motivation to keep moving forward!
In Episode 1 we were joined by Rob Belt. Rob is a teacher from Lincoln, UK who suffered a stroke in 2017 & had open heart surgery last year. Learn how Rob has focused on exercise that works for him, and the importance of having a team to hold you accontable and stay motivated. He's raising money for BHF & NHS this month by climbing 3,356 accents of stairs in ONE day - AKA the #EverestChallenge, on May 23rd!
Episode 2 was a special one for me. Were joined by my Mother, Donna Garrow. Donna is a 29 year stroke survivor, ex ICU nurse, and inspiration for what we're building here at EnableUs. Hear her story, tips, and what a perfect stroke rehab process would look like if she was given a magic wand.
We'll be hosting each interview on the Survivor Stories section of our website.
